State Missions

NCBC is involved in different mission projects in our state. Some of our state mission projects are independent projects while others are done through our participation in the Baptist State Convention of NC. Below are just a few ways we share the Gospel and the love of Christ to those in our state.

Caswell Work Weeks

In 1949 the Baptist State Convention of NC purchased Fort Caswell, a former Civil War fort on the eastern end of Oak Island. After the property was purchased by NC Baptists it was transformed into a retreat center. Each year thousands of people, including 7,000 teenagers, use the facilities at Fort Caswell. Mission Team members from NCBC join other Caldwell Baptist churches in helping the maintenance staff at Fort Caswell in repairing the facilities in the off season. During the first week of November members of the NCBC Mission Team work on various projects around Fort Caswell to prepare for the next year.

NC Missions Offering

The ministries of NC Baptist Men, church planting, mission camps, associational projects, and mobilization ministry projects are available because of contributions to the North Carolina Missions Offering. NCBC sets an annual goal and gives church members an opportunity to support this offering. You can learn more about the NC Missions Offering here.
