Local Missions

NCBC is involved in many different mission projects in our local community. Below are just a few ways we share the Gospel and the love of Christ to those in our community.

Baton Elementary School

Since 2013, NCBC has been partnering with Baton Elementary School to minister to the students and their families, as well as the teachers and staff. In January we collect hygiene items for the teachers to use in their classrooms to help lessen the spread of colds and the flu. In March and November we send snacks and treats to the teachers just to encourage them and show our appreciation to them. In August we provide the teachers and staff with a "Back to School" Luncheon at the church. During August we also Prayer Walk the school with other Caldwell Baptists. In September we have church members who participate in the "See You At The Pole" rally to pray over the school. We also make ourselves available to the school in other ways as well.

Caldwell Baptist

As a part of the Caldwell Baptist Association, NCBC has many opportunities to minister to the people of Caldwell County. NCBC partners with other Caldwell Baptist Churches to perform mission projects here at home and in other parts of the country. Find out more about the Caldwell Baptist Association here.

Gideons International

Each year NCBC has a member of the local Gideons share with the church about the work the Gideons do around the world. NCBC also takes a love offering to help support the work Gideons do in providing the Bible to folks around the world.

Lenoir Soup Kitchen

Each July NCBC collects Tea, Lemonade, and Sugar for the Lenoir Soup Kitchen in the hopes of assisting their ministry during the hottest part of the year.

North Catawba Fire-Rescue

Since 2014, NCBC has been ministering to the brave men and women who protect our community by serving at NCFR. On the first Sunday in May we invite the members of NCFR, along with Sheriff's Officers and EMS, to a special day of recognition. We also do collections to help them minister to our community, as well as providing snacks and treats from time to time.
